How Much is the Drunken Clam Worth?

The Rovers Return vs Queen Vic of the animated world, the Drunken Clam is the bar of choice in Family Guy and the animated rival to Moe’s. The Drunken Clam is always busier than Moe’s, so how much is it actually worth?

We know the karaoke machine easily brings in the crowds, whilst the cost from the bar burning down (along with other restoration costs from other destructive acts) will work against it.

Check out our valuation of the popular Quahog bar here, and remember to pay your respects to Horace on the way out.

Drunken Clam Property Value

Much like Moe’s, we don’t think Jerome owns the bar, and will be paying rent. Whilst this doesn’t detract from its goodwill value, it certainly doesn’t add to it.

Drunken Clam Weekly Takings

The Drunken Clam is always busier than Moe’s (especially after an 80’s fixing-things-up montage...) with up to 25 customers an hour. If it’s an average of $3 a drink, with two drinks an hour and a ten hour opening time, we get to $1,500 a day, and $10,500 a week.

Drunken Clam Asset Value

Unlike Moe’s, the Drunken Clam has actual bottles on the wall, more seating and even a karaoke machine with Journey’s Don’t Stop Believing fully loaded and ready to be sung. All this, coupled with the taps, TVs and trademark neon sign, puts the assets at $15,200 / £10,000 and far past the value of Moe’s Tavern.

Drunken Clam Total Valuation

The Drunken Clam easily beats Moe’s Tavern in value – which should come as no surprise to anyone who’s familiar with the two establishments. The bar has a much wider range of customers and more drinks for sale, however it’s not been smooth sailing for Horace. The bar has shut down, burned down and been renovated several times, but it always comes back – the sign of a good business.
